Ben Lurye is an actor and singer originally from Maryland, now living in NYC, where he moved on March 1, 2020 (it’s a really fun story, ask him about it sometime).
He’s performed across the country, including at the Tony Award-winning Signature Theatre, Theatre Under the Stars, North Shore Music Theatre, Ford’s Theatre, Olney Theatre, the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, Gulfshore Playhouse, and many others. Ben has also appeared in concert with the National Symphony Orchestra, the Lawton Philharmonic, and The American Pops, and performs with the opera-rock mash-up show The Jersey Tenors.
Also a musician, arts educator, and Music Director, Ben’s work ‘on the other side of the table’ has been seen at Constellation Theatre, Adventure Theatre, We Happy Few, the Capital Fringe Festival, and in numerous educational productions at Adventure Theatre, Imagination Stage, and DC-area high schools.
Ben also loves cooking, DC/Baltimore sports teams, designing websites, and yes he wants to pet your dog.
